Top Internet Service Providers By Neighborhood in Los Angeles

Are you looking for the best internet plan in your neighborhood? Los Angeles is of course huge, but the best options come down to two providers: AT&T and Spectrum. Still, it's worth a while to have a look at the offers available in the most populated areas of the city.

  1. Koreatown

The best option here is AT&T offering DSL and fiber connection speeding up to 940 Mpbs. The second choice is Spectrum with a similar offer, and the third one would be T-Mobile Home with slower, but cheaper connection. The next places on the list belong to Viasat, HughesNet, EarthLink, Starry and Sonic, respectively.

  2. Westlake

The most popular internet provider in this neighborhood is again AT&T with 100% availability and connection speeding up to 940 Mpbs. The runner-up is slightly more expensive Spectrum with similar speed. The third option would be much cheaper, but slower and less accessible T-Mobile Home Internet. Next choices look similarly as in the case of Koreatown.

  3. East Hollywood

The situation in East Hollywood looks almost exactly the same as in Westlake and Koreatown. T-Mobile Home Internet is slightly less accessible here.  The rest of the ranking looks exactly like in the case of Koreatown and Westlake.

  4. Pico-Union

AT&T and Spectrum are the first choices again. What is interesting, the availability of T-Mobile Home Internet is two times higher than in the previously mentioned areas (32,6%).

  5. Maywood

The situation in Maywood looks exactly the same as in Westlake and East Hollywood. Viasat, HughesNet and EarthLink are popular here too.

  6. Harvard Heights

The ranking of internet providers in this neighborhood is no different from the structure typical for other areas already described in this article.

  7. Hollywood

The situation in Hollywood looks more or less the same. What differentiates this area from the others mentioned until now is the popularity of ConnectTo. It’s higher in the ranking than Sonic.

  8. Walnut Park

In this area, fewer internet providers are available. The list looks as follows: AT&T, Spectrum, T-Mobile Home, Viasat, HughesNet and EarthLink. Sonic has very low coverage here (only 1.5%.)

  9. Palms

The top of the ranking looks here similar, as in the case of previously mentioned neighborhoods. Other providers with lower coverage that are not that popular in other, more populated areas of LA are Frontier and Consolidated Smart Broadband Systems.
