JustinGuitar.com is a website run by a Tasmanian musician who's been offering guitar lessons on his website since 2003. He is an extremely popular online teacher who will walk you through the most basic principles of playing guitar.

The beginner's course includes videos, general tips and basic chords. You can progress through to an intermediate playing level, and you’ll find plenty of play-alongs, genre-specific lessons, solos, ear training material and much more.

The courses are free,  but Justin asks the users to support him through donations.

Drumeo

If you dream about learning to play drums, take your first steps with the free online library Drumeo. It’s a great resource for people who are just getting started playing the drums. The videos will help you with basics and give you some inspiration.

Have you always wanted to play the piano? If yes, you should definitely check out Hoffman Academy. The Academy’s website offers 100 lessons,  starting from the basics. Later lessons include eighth and quarter notes, reading sheet music, improvising, scales, and song composition. Materials for each lesson can be purchased.

The website danchristian.net offers you access to free resources such as playthroughs, workouts, and videos of performances, so you can see how the pros play. If you are willing to pay, you may get sax lessons from Christian via Skype.
